New Compound Line Promises to Bring Speedier, More Flexible Operation
Degussa AG, our producer of raw materials, is expected to complete its capacity-expansion project for the existing manufacturing facility in order to accommodate the planned increase in monomer and polymer production. The Aboshi plant (located in Himeji City, Japan), our Asian production base, has already introduced a new compounding line, which is ready for operation.
The aim of the new line is to manufacture in Japan a range of compound products with quality equal to those made in Germany, and to deliver these high-quality products to our customers in Asia.
"VESTAMELT"CINTE TECHTEXTIL CHINA
This year's edition of Techtextil 2002, Asia's largest general textile exhibition, will be held in Shanghai, China, from September 25th through 27th. Manufacturers at the show will exhibit products encompassing a wide range of industries, from raw textile materials and chemicals "secondary materials" to machinery. Techtextil 2002 will showcase a broad spectrum of products, from processed textiles and clothes to industrial fibers.
New Name for Our Marketing Department
Our marketing department has changed its name from "Daiamid Marketing Department" to "Marketing Department."
