* Film materials used by leading manufacturers of sporting goods
"Daiamid/Vestamid" and "Trogamid," which are based on polyamide 12, offer the required properties to answer such demanding product needs. Providing different functional characteristics, these resins are helping in the development of durable yet attractive sporting products.
* Cinte Techtextile China 2002 Exhibition Report
China hosted its first textile show--Cinte Techtextile China 2002--on September 25 through 27, 2002 at Shanghai's Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center. Daicel-Degussa exhibited its hotmelt adhesive "Vestamelt".
* K&K: Adhesive-free composite technology
Daicel-Degussa was asked to give a lecture at a session entitled "Science and Technology of Adhesion Interface" at the 33rd Fall Congress of the Chubu Division of Chemical Associations, held at the Nagoya Institute of Technology on October 5 and 6, 2002.
