New Product Lines-PLEXIGLAS, PLEXALLOY
Effective as of January 2006, we took over molding compound business of PMMA resins, PLEXIGLAS and PLEXALLOY from Degussa Japan and started marketing activities to the Japanese market. These products are world-renowned polymethyl-methacrylate molding compound resin that have been manufactured and sold for nearly 100 years by R?hm GmbH&Co. KG, a member of the Degussa Group, ever since the founding of R?hm. Daicel-Degussa provides six grades of materials offering a distinctive set of characteristics.
Aiming for Perfection-Make Cars More Beautiful, More Ecological, More Efficient, and Safer
Under four phrases - More Beautiful, More Ecological, More Efficient, and Safer- , "Automotive Day" was held on November 17th, 2005 as an event designed to convey the competencies of the Degussa Group in Japan to the Japanese automotive industry. Daicel-Degussa exhibited multi-layer tubes utilizing DAIAMID/VESTAMID, and the K&K (a technology that successfully composites resin and rubber). The event was a great success, and it helped our guests understand our innovative technologies and potentials through first-hand experience.
