Daicel-Evonik Ltd. was formed in 1970, as a joint venture of Huels AG (currently Evonik Degussa GmbH), Germany, and Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd., and has been developing and selling high quality and high performance polymers starting from Polyamide 12. In 1998, certification to ISO9000S was obtained to enhance capability to offer the best products and the highest technologies in the world. And in 2000, certification to ISO14000S was additionally obtained to promote environmental solutions. In July 2002, aiming at expansion of the business field and at further responsibility, alicyclic C8 and C12 compounds have been added to our product line. We are taking great leap, day by day, to be the "No.1" leader in the Engineering Polymer field.
