Coreless Varnish for the electronics industry, for example, for PC monitors, TV sets, audio players, video cameras, headphones or micro-motors, benefit from the special properties of our VESTAMELT® copolyamide hotmelt adhesives. These adhesives are added as thermoplastic adhesives to self-bonding varnishes, with which insulated wires are coated and glued together by induction heat.
- When VESTAMELT® is manufactured, it is possible to select combinations of the monomers in order to affect the solubility, softening point, water absorption, thermal expansion, and melting viscosity as desired.
Deflection Yorks produced using VESTAMELT® self-bonding varnishes ensure the following:
- Coating will quickly become tack-free
- High adhesion at low processing temperatures
- High dimensional stability up to 120°C
- High resistance to the effects of humidity
- Electrical safety (short-circuit test)
